Calvin's American Grill
Hello, my name is Kareem aka “BO$$” I’ am the new Kitchen Manager on board. I recently started a couple of weeks back, and there have been changes made. I will apologize to the customers who have had bad experiences in the past. I myself would like my meal to be prepared correctly the first time within reasonable timing, and fresh with quality presentation severed with a smile. Here at Calvin’s we do take pride in our work. I’m honored to be a part of Calvin’s American Grill. I never had the chance to meet Calvin himself personally, but I’m sure he’s a great man. I have heard great stories about him through my staff. And as the new “KM” I will stand by Calvin’s and make the changes necessary to ensure a great dinning experience. Once again I will apologize and correct any issues from the past. Kareem
Me and a couple of my friends went out for the evening and decided to give Calvin’s a try. Not only was the food good, our service was great and our meal was received in a timely manner. My food was hot and cooked to perfection. We were able to sit down and enjoy a good meal and relax to the sounds of a outstanding live musician.
Went there with two others for lunch, took 30 min to get any food even though we were the only ones there. Two orders were wrong, another 30 min to get my plate back. After one hour I just took my food to go and only ate half because it was fried to death. No refils on drinks, only saw the waitress to order, send back and pay. They tried to make it right by comping the meal. But if you have an hour for lunch that is just not enough tme.

It can be nice knowing what to expect, even when it comes to dining-out options. The nice thing about working in a military town are not only all the interesting people you meet, but the variety in restaurant cuisine. We've got a little bit of everything in Houston County: Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Mediterranean, Mexican, Cuban, Jamaican, Italian and Thai, among others, and of course, American. (Full review)
